To start harnessing the power of Power Pivot, first ensure that it is enabled within Excel. Located on the Data tab of the ribbon, Power Pivot might simply be referred to as the "Data Model." If you don't see this option, you can enable it through the File tab, navigating to Options, and then to the Add-Ins section. Here, under the "Manage" dropdown, select "COM Add-Ins," and ensure that "Microsoft Power Pivot for Excel" is checked.

After confirming the activation, a Power Pivot tab will appear on your ribbon. If it doesn’t, customize the ribbon by right-clicking it and ensuring that Power Pivot is checked in the list that appears.
