Part 2/8:
Dr. Julia Goldstein, a prominent figure from the Pikman Corporation, finds herself reaching out to James Peters, the son of a renowned researcher. Goldstein entices Peters with the opportunity to join a groundbreaking expedition funded in part by her corporation. They aim to explore the Antarctic sea floor and investigate a peculiar anomaly they had discovered—a supposedly man-made portal at the bottom of the ocean.
Peters, initially reluctant, engages with Goldstein’s enthusiasm and the notion of a potentially historic discovery. He is introduced to an ambitious team comprising experts: Gordon Atkins, a lead submersible lab expert, Christin Harris, a marine biologist, and others, each equipped with a deep understanding of the ocean's enigmas.
