A notable investigation by Wired revealed a troubling incident involving a South Korean AI company named Genomus. Cybersecurity expert Jeremiah Fowler stumbled upon an open and unsecured database containing over 95,000 files, all accessible without any password protection. The files within this database were not trivial; they included highly sensitive and, in many cases, disturbing content. Among these were graphic and inappropriate images, including what many termed "deep fakes," as well as files that appeared to show illegal material involving minors.
