It represents the Divine essence and oneness, encapsulating the very foundation of existence. Its numerical value of one signifies unity, while its silent pronunciation signifies the unmanifested aspects of Divinity.
In contrast, the last letter, Tav, points to the physical world's emptiness without spirituality. It is significant that the first appearance of Tav in the Torah denotes a void, reinforcing the idea that, without the spiritual essence, existence is hollow.
