Mixing the Batter
Start by cracking the two eggs into a bowl and add in the ½ cup of sugar. Using a whisk or spatula, mix these two ingredients thoroughly for around a minute until well combined.
Next, pour in the cup of milk, continuing to mix until the batter is smooth. Gradually incorporate the flour, adding it slowly to maintain an even consistency. It is essential to ensure that the batter is not too runny nor too thick; a moderately thick consistency yields the best results when frying.
Once all the flour is mixed in, add the baking powder and stir well to make sure it is evenly distributed through the batter.
