The Central Bank's Key Measures Against Fraud
In a significant move aimed at enhancing security in the financial system, the Central Bank announced plans to exclude nearly 10 million irregular chaves Pix from its database. These exclusions are primarily due to the presence of 8 million taxpayer IDs (CPFs) that are improperly registered, alongside approximately 1.7 million corporate IDs (CNPJs) that do not comply with the Federal Revenue regulations.
