While the ice cream freezes, why not create a simple berry compote to drizzle over your ice cream? Mix blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries in a saucepan over medium heat. Add a dash of Jamaican pepper, a pinch of cinnamon, and salt. If the berries are sweet, squeeze in some lemon juice for a little acidity to balance the flavors.
