Starlink was conceptualized and developed to address some of the critical challenges in internet connectivity, especially in places where traditional infrastructure—such as cables—was non-existent. By 2019, Musk had initiated the launch of 60 satellites, laying the foundation for a network destined to provide internet accessibility globally. With plans to eventually deploy 12,000 satellites, Musk has already seen significant progress, with around 6,000 satellites currently in orbit and licenses for up to 30,000.
