To truly understand the D-Rex, we need to revisit the origins of the original Jurassic Park series. The story begins with the concept of reviving dinosaurs from ancient DNA extracted from mosquitoes trapped in amber. John Hammond, the ambitious mind behind Jurassic Park, believed it was possible to create real, living dinosaurs using genetic engineering. However, the DNA recovered was often damaged, leading the scientists to fill in the gaps with DNA from modern amphibians, notably African frogs. This decision would ultimately lead to unexpected consequences, such as the dinosaurs' ability to change sex and escape the confines of human control.
