Conducted at the RCGI (Research Center for Greenhouse Gas Innovation), the experiments will explore the feasibility of using ethanol as a viable alternative to diesel, a fuel associated with substantial atmospheric pollution caused by heavy trucks.
With plans to use a truck supplied by GWM for these tests, the research aims to prove that hydrogen fuel cells can effectively convert chemical energy into electricity without emitting pollutants while offering high autonomy and rapid recharging capabilities.
