The typical soldier's uniform included various garments and gear. The Gymnastyorka, a greenish khaki shirt introduced in 1912, served as standard issue, with officers wearing tailored versions. The shades of greenish khaki varied due to dye sources, leading to uniforms ranging from greenish brown to white in some cases.
