Part 12/15:
As the new day dawned on November 30th, renewed fighting broke out. Allied reinforcements under Brigadier Clifton arrived after a perilous journey through enemy-held territory, delivering critical supplies and equipment to the besieged New Zealanders, who desperately needed them. The British 15th Panzer Division, now south of Sidi Rezegh, began moving westward to consolidate their gains, while the Italians and other German divisions pressed their attacks.
Despite heavy resistance, the battered British units managed small victories, temporarily retaking ground at El Duda. Yet, overall, the Axis forces, with their superior numbers in tanks and artillery, began to encircle and isolate the outnumbered and exhausted Allied troops.
