Part 2/7:
To begin the practice, participants are encouraged to sit in a comfortable position, ideally on a cushion that supports the spine and keeps the torso upright. The practice starts with simple yet powerful breathing techniques, inhaling deeply through the nose and exhaling gently, fostering a connection with the present moment. As yogis close their eyes, they are invited to focus on their third eye by rolling their gaze upwards, stimulating the pineal gland—a key player in the body's spiritual awakening.
The mantra “Sat Nam,” meaning “I am truth,” is introduced, allowing practitioners to link each inhale with the sound "Sat" and each exhale with "Nam," reinforcing the idea that truth resides within. This mantra is integral to setting a positive mindset for the session.
