Part 2/11:
Kundalini is said to lie dormant at the muladhara, the root chakra at the base of the spine. This energy, when awakened through dedicated practices such as yoga postures, breathing techniques (pranayama), and mantras, ascends through the chakras, culminating in a state of sublime consciousness known as enlightenment. When the energy finally reaches the sahasrara, or crown chakra, the practitioner experiences a merging with pure consciousness—an event heralded by waves of elation and profound insight.
