Next, extend your right arm overhead and draw a large circle, promoting mobility in your shoulders. When you reach back to the ceiling, take a full breath and then thread your right arm beneath your left, allowing your shoulder to rest on the mat. This threaded pose offers a great stretch for the upper back and shoulders.
Repeat this with the left arm before returning to Tabletop.
Lower Body Activation
Now, let’s begin activating the legs. Extend your right leg and gently press your heel towards the ground to stretch the back of the leg. Rock forward and backward to further massage the hamstrings, then open the right knee to draw circles, warming up the hip joint.
