Before jumping into the Kriya, the session begins with a grounding meditation to tune into the energy of the throat chakra. Participants are guided to sit tall with palms in prayer mudra at the heart center, drawing awareness inward.
The practice opens with a series of warm-up exercises focusing on the spine. These initial movements are essential as they prepare the body and mind for the deeper work ahead. A spinal flex is introduced where the participant inhales forward and exhales back, which promotes flexibility and helps in opening the throat.
