To connect with the potent energy of the third chakra, we begin our session with a dynamic breathing technique known as Breath of Fire. This practice involves standing with our feet wide apart, arms lifted, and engaging in short, staccato exhales while keeping the inhale passive. The aim is to visualize oneself as a conduit of energy, feeling the fire and momentum building in the belly.
After a vigorous round of Breath of Fire, we transition to a wide stance, holding the breath and drawing energy upward, preparing ourselves for the flowing movements ahead. This breath-centric initiation amplifies our connection to the solar plexus, igniting the internal flame necessary for transformation and action.
