Part 3/6:
The session began with students rubbing their hands together and moving into a meditative state. This opening exercise set the energy for the practice and created a collective intention among the participants. Students were reminded to hold thoughts of empowerment and balance as they proceeded through a series of core-strengthening exercises designed to activate the third chakra.
Two key kriyas (sets of exercises) were performed during the class. The first focused on apana (downward energy) and prana (upward energy) balance, facilitating internal alignment and vitality. The second kriya specifically targeted the navel center and elimination, with movements that encouraged engagement of core muscles to enhance strength and stability.
