The heart of today’s practice revolves around the Sun Salutations. Participants are guided through six rounds of Surya Namaskar, aimed at waking up the body and inviting a sense of joy. Starting at the front of the mat, the flow begins with standing tall, bringing awareness to the breath, and flowing through a series of movements that transition from standing poses, to plank, to downward dog, and back up to standing.

Each round builds on the one before, engaging the body, breath, and spirit, with reminders to stay present and connect with deep, nourishing breaths. Throughout the practice, small smiles are encouraged to foster a sense of joy and accomplishment, reinforcing the idea that yoga is beneficial not only for physical well-being but also for cultivating a positive mindset.
