To begin our practice, find a comfortable seated position on your yoga mat. Start by grounding yourself, ensuring your spine is tall and your heart is open. After closing your eyes, focus on your breath. Take a deep inhale and release a sigh, softening your body and mind with each exhale.
As you settle into your body, reflect on the simple achievement of making it onto your mat today. With an attitude of gratitude, bring your hands to your heart center, and set a personal intention for your practice. You may choose to embrace the words: "Hearts may I practice out of love for myself, may I practice with the desire to know the truth, may I practice for the benefit of all beings."
