Healing Through Movement: Yoga Poses for the Heart Chakra
To restore balance and activate the heart chakra, incorporating specific yoga poses can be incredibly beneficial. These poses help in opening the chest area, enhancing breath, and facilitating emotional release.
1. Chest Fly (Kundalini Yoga Pose)
This pose begins seated, either cross-legged or in the butterfly position. Extend the arms out straight with palms facing down, inhaling deeply as the breath travels into the heart space. On the exhale, bring the hands together so that the palms nearly touch, then pull the hands back to the starting position. Maintain this movement for about three to five minutes to feel a significant shift in energy and openness.
