Introduction to Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga, often known as the yoga of awareness, is a spiritual practice that combines postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and chanting to awaken the spiritual energy at the base of the spine. In a recent one-hour Kundalini class led by Candace from Soul Fire Social, participants embarked on a transformative journey focusing on the heart center, also known as the Fourth Chakra, or Anahata. This class was an invitation to open the heart, release negativity, and embrace a deeper connection with oneself.
