Once the meditators are attuned to the present moment, the process of activating their energy centers begins. This involves a technique known as "fire breath," which entails forceful exhalations through the nose while contracting the stomach. The focused breathing not only helps to release stuck energies but may also induce feelings of lightheadedness as the body starts to process these sensations.
The instructor then transitions to releasing tension in the shoulder and neck areas. This is achieved through a series of inhalations while shrugging the shoulders up, followed by significant exhalations to relax them. The aim is to promote a sense of increased energy flow, which may manifest as sensations throughout the upper body.
