With our breath flowing, we transitioned into Child’s Pose, an excellent starting point that promotes grounding and connection to our inner wisdom. From there, we flowed into Downward Facing Dog, allowing the blood to return to the brain and energize our bodies.

The class also incorporated a seated forward fold (Janushirasana). As we reached forward, we deepened our experience by reflecting on how blockages in our physical and emotional bodies, such as stress and unexpressed truths, can impede our energy flow.

Balancing and Releasing Blockages

Throughout the practice, we remained aware of how experiences in our daily lives can create energetic blockages. Engaging in yoga helps release these blockages, allowing us to reconnect with our innate wisdom and intuition.
