As with every class, we begin by finding a comfortable seated position. It's essential to create a serene space for our practice. Sit tall, pressing firmly into the ground, while reaching the crown of the head towards the sky. After rolling the shoulders back and allowing the heart to open, gently close your eyes.

Take a deep inhalation through the nose and then open the mouth wide, exhaling as a way to release any tension. This practice of softening into your breath helps ground you in the present moment. With continued focus on your breath, notice how you feel in your body, your energy, and your emotions. Acknowledge where you are—both physically and mentally—because that is perfectly fine.

You’ve already succeeded by simply stepping onto your mat.
