Part 1/3:
Meditation for the Seventh Chakra
In the practice of yoga and meditation, the seventh chakra, also known as the crown chakra or Sahasrara, plays a vital role in attaining higher consciousness and connectivity with the universe. This meditation is designed specifically for balancing and energizing this chakra while also cultivating a sense of humility and diminishing the ego.
The Posture
To begin this meditation, find a comfortable seated position. It’s crucial to bring the hands together so that all the fingers, including the thumbs, are aligned. The hands should be at a slight angle, approximately four inches away from the chest, with the elbows resting comfortably within the ribcage. This posture not only helps maintain focus but also helps to center your energy.
