The Essence of Yoga and Samadhi

The ultimate aim of yoga transcends physical postures; it is about cultivating a state of mind conducive to meditation. One of the reasons practitioners adopt specific seating positions, such as Sukhasana or Padmasana, is to facilitate extended periods of meditation. It is within these meditative states that the Sahasrara Chakra can be activated, paving the way towards achieving Samadhi, a profound state of spiritual awakening.
