To perform alternate nostril breathing, follow these steps:

  1. Hand Positioning: Use your left hand to form the 'Gyan Mudra' (thumb and index finger touching), or if that’s uncomfortable, you can simply rest it on your knee. With your right hand, drop your index and middle fingers into your palm, allowing your thumb, ring finger, and pinky to remain extended.

  2. Breathing Technique:

  • Begin by exhaling completely.

  • Close your right nostril with your right thumb and inhale slowly through your left nostril.

  • Close the left nostril with your ring finger and exhale through the right nostril.

  • Inhale through the right nostril, close it off, and then exhale through the left.
