The gentle pressure of palms against each other and the firm connection of feet to the ground help to promote grounding. Engaging the core and balancing the body, practitioners inhale to raise their arms overhead, extending through the elbows, before exhaling to return to heart center. This rhythmic exchange of breath continues, encouraging a deep connection between body and mind.
