To start the practice, participants are encouraged to find a comfortable seated position. With a focus on the physical alignment of the body, the instructions emphasize pressing into the seat while reaching the crown of the head upwards, maintaining a tall posture. This sets the tone for a deep internal reflection.
As the eyes close, the practitioner turns their awareness inward and begins to engage in deep breathing exercises. A significant emphasis is placed on using both inhalations and exhalations to open up both the mind and body. Breathing deeply through the nose and exhaling through the mouth can create a relaxing effect that helps to center the individual in the present moment.
