The session commenced with an invitation for all to take a comfortable seated position, facilitating a connection to the breath. Participants were guided to visualize their inhalation traveling to the root chakra at the base of the spine, followed by a gentle exhalation back through the nose. This grounding exercise allowed for a minute of natural breathing where participants tuned into their inner selves, preparing for the spiritual journey ahead.
As the session progressed, the focus shifted to tuning in with the collective energy through a sacred chant, acknowledging the essence of teachers who guided the practice. This initial grounding established a connection to the sacred space, an essential aspect of any yoga practice.
