For a more relaxing variation of pigeon pose, perform it in a supine position by crossing one ankle over the opposite knee, drawing the leg towards your body to stretch the hip and lower back gently.
Engaging in Final Twists
Once you feel your back is ready, transition into a seated position to prepare for final twists. Cross one leg over the other, keeping both hips grounded, and rotate your torso to deepen the stretch while maintaining an upright posture.
Follow this with some gentle supine twists, dropping your knees to one side while looking in the opposite direction. These twists are beneficial for detoxifying the body.
