Part 3/7:

In Zeno's paradox, the scenario is as follows: Achilles is racing against a tortoise, which is given a head start. Zeno argues that Achilles can never catch the tortoise. To illustrate, as Achilles reaches the point where the tortoise began, the tortoise has moved a little further ahead. By the time Achilles gets to that new point, the tortoise has moved again, and this process continues infinitely.

Conceptually, this suggests that there are an endless number of intervals that Achilles must complete, each smaller than the last. Zeno's argument leads to the conclusion that Achilles will never reach the tortoise despite the clear reality that he eventually would. This paradox presents a challenge to our understanding of motion and infinity.
