Natural numbers are the most straightforward type of numbers and are simply the counting numbers. They begin from 1 and extend infinitely: 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on. One crucial detail about natural numbers is that they do not include zero; they encompass only positive integers used for counting objects or occurrences.
Integers
Expanding from natural numbers, integers include all the whole numbers both positive and negative, as well as zero. Thus, integers consist of the following: ...,-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3,... . Essentially, integers form a more comprehensive set that incorporates both the counting aspect of natural numbers and the concept of negation.
