Resolving the Issue
With the Skype data folder identified, here's how to resolve the login issue:
Delete or Rename the Folder: If the Skype folder appears to be corrupted, you can either delete it or rename it to something like "old Skype." Renaming is often the safer choice as it retains the original data in case something goes wrong.
Reopen Skype: When you restart Skype after renaming or deleting the folder, the application will automatically create a new folder if one doesn’t exist. This effectively resets the application’s data, allowing you to log in afresh without the corruption error interfering.
