To change your microphone settings, you have two options:
- Using Windows Search:
- Simply type "microphone" or "manage audio devices" in the search bar.
- Accessing through Control Panel:
- Open the Control Panel, navigate to “Hardware and Sound,” and then select “Sound” to access audio devices.
Once you’re in the Sound settings, you’ll want to focus on the “Recording” tab, where all connected microphones will be listed.
Adjusting Microphone Volume
Upon selecting your microphone, you can view several options. One of the essential adjustments is the volume level. The user notes that their microphone was initially set to a default level of 50%, which contributed to the low volume complaints in their recordings.
