In a calculated comparison, the Twin Towers, towering at approximately 1,360 feet and 110 stories each, would theoretically yield a debris pile of about 13 to 16 stories post-collapse. However, on that fateful day, only a three-story debris pile remained, notably similar in height to the lobby of the buildings. Several visual accounts from that day reveal ambulances covered in fine dust, as opposed to being crushed under a mountain of rubble.
