One of the critical pieces of evidence cited by proponents of the remote control theory is the apparent lack of substantial wreckage at the crash sites. According to some witnesses, there was little to no recognizable debris from the aircraft at the World Trade Center. Specifically, the argument pointed out that while several small fragments were reported, nothing of significant size seemed to have emerged from the buildings upon impact. For instance, a portion of a fuselage panel was noted, yet its presence raised eyebrows as it seemed to have survived the impact almost entirely intact.
