Part 5/8:
The investigations conducted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) became points of contention, with critics calling into question the scientific rigor of these reports. Some theorists observed that three skyscrapers suffered global collapses in one day—a statistical anomaly, considering numerous prior skyscraper fires had never resulted in such catastrophic failures.
The collapse also brought about what was termed "dustification," wherein much of the materials that made up the towers became dust, leaving behind minimal structural debris. This was contrary to the expected large leftover masses associated with such falls. Observers noted that the initial explosions at the towers seemed to push debris upward and outward, contradicting the narrative of a downward crush.
