Much of BLT's research has concentrated on the plants growing around and within these circles, particularly the nodes—the thickened, knuckle-like parts of the stems. A critical observation made by the team was that the nodes of plants inside the crop circles appeared elongated and stretched. This anomaly was not observed in formations definitively created by human hands, providing a compelling marker for further investigation.
Theories on Formation
BLT hypothesizes that the unique changes occurring in plants can be attributed to some form of heat source, potentially generated by microwaves. The suggested mechanism posits that the tissue in the nodes becomes so fibrous and dense that when the steam builds up from heating, it results in explosive ruptures within the nodes.
