Part 2/9:
Connelly, having taken refuge in Building 7, descended toward what he believed to be a bomb shelter. However, the scene was unlike anything anticipated; the shelter was destroyed. As he exited into near-total darkness, he relied on the spontaneous combustion of cars around him to navigate his way amidst the debris. The area resembled a war zone—a "swamp" of wet paper, dust, and burned vehicles. Reports from first responders suggested odd patterns of combustion, igniting cars seemingly out of nowhere, indicating some unknown force at play.
