Part 2/8:
Eco-humanism can be defined as a holistic philosophy rooted in ecological theory aimed at promoting a more humane existence for individuals. Max explained that this philosophy diverges from classical humanism, which focuses on human development through promoting well-being and survival. Eco-humanism seeks to address the pressing need for individuals to interact with and thrive in a world heavily influenced by human activity and environmental issues.
Max expressed that his motivation for developing the eco-humanism research website arose from personal experiences and independent research dating back to 2016, pushing for a dialogue that considers the interrelationship between humanity and the ecology of the planet.
