Calibration Runs and Confidence Intervals
Throughout the calibration phase, three runs were executed to determine the relationship between the input power and the corresponding temperature changes within the reactor. A crucial aspect of this process involves calculating the 95% confidence interval. This threshold helps ascertain whether the Challan e wire is genuinely generating excess heat. In practical terms, for any excess heat to be validated, the observed temperature must exceed the upper confidence limit. For instance, a detection of 10 watts of excess energy would correlate to nearly a 20-degree increase in temperature.
