Upon inspection after the experiment, Grenier noted significant differences between the two spheres. The sphere with holes showed signs of chemical activity, producing what appeared to be copper residue, likely from the brass powder and other materials present. In contrast, the sphere with no internal access remained clean, indicating that plasma had little interaction with it.

This observation led Grenier to conclude that plasma indeed seeks to "hide," avoiding direct contact with the surface. This prompted the design of stronger, larger spheres to facilitate more effective plasma generation while also trying to limit heat absorption in the structure.
