One of the central hypotheses presented by Granger is that these unusual tracks—a manifestation of incoherent matter—arise from coherent matter clusters within the multi-lead brass cathodes used in the experiments. These brass cathodes were critical for generating what Granger refers to as “strange radiation,” a term encompassing various anomalous phenomena observed during the experiments. He cited the work of Ken Shoulders and involved phenomena such as the strange radiation tracks observed cutting through metals, which alter the polarization of light and potentially change the material's magnetic properties.
