Part 2/8:
At the heart of the experiment is an aluminum cathode paired with an aluminum anode, designed based on previous observations made by researcher John Hutchison. This was inspired by the long-standing recognition of aluminum, beryllium, and magnesium as preferred elements for producing “clean ether streams,” as identified in Tesla’s work dating back to the late 19th century.
Grenier's presentation showcased a video from Hank Ewan that captures the behavior of electrons in this setup. The phenomena observed include electrons “skipping” across a surface of aluminum, reminiscent of a previous documentation by Shoulders describing the emission and behavior of similar electrons within a vacuum and low-pressure environment.
