With the thermocouple securely positioned, the next step is to re-attach the gas sampling port. This is accomplished using swage lock connectors, which are noted for their reusability. While not as effective as conflats in sealing, these connectors provide a reliable enough bond to maintain vacuum integrity.
These swage lock connectors include a small olive that helps ensure a tight fit, effectively managing the connection to uphold its functionality during use.
