This collaboration has flourished over the years, culminating in the Tallwood project, which aims to prove the viability of wood as a resilient and robust construction material.
From initial tests in Japan in 2009, the commitment has remained strong with ongoing exchanges of ideas and design innovations between the research team and Simpson Strong-Tie experts, including Steve Prior and his team. Their joint efforts have focused on building projects that prioritize structural safety while optimizing materials used in construction.
