Chandler and the International Center for 911 Justice promote the idea that Flight 77 followed the official narrative – switching off its transponder over the Kentucky-Ohio border and then reappearing before crashing into the Pentagon. This is the narrative that is often taken as fact, but I argue there is compelling evidence that contradicts this account.
One crucial piece of evidence, acquired through the Freedom of Information Act, consists of DCC radar track data for Flight 77. This data reveals that instead of making a 180-degree turn back towards Washington, Flight 77 continued its course toward Kentucky and Missouri. It wasn’t until just before disappearing from radar that it may have descended, raising the possibility that the flight landed rather than crashed.
