The production of these 20-foot-long missiles is handled at the Raytheon company facility, where key personnel, like Kim Eren, oversee the intricate integration of essential components. This factory is responsible for assembling the rocket motors and warheads—the energetics elements of the missile. Additional components and sub-assemblies come from other Raytheon factories, culminating in final assembly, testing, and preparation for shipping.
As part of their contract with the Navy, Raytheon is set to deliver 196 Tomahawk missiles this year. The urgency in operations is evident as 14 missiles are prepared for shipment, undergoing what workers call a "roll test" to ensure all internal elements are secure and functioning correctly.
